Ayannie Peake is a Washington, DC native and contemporary artist who creates art using a variety of genres, media, and styles. She is best known for her realistic and abstract medium-scale portraits of family, friends, and celebrities that focus on emotions and passions. Many of her current artworks incorporate African symbolism, spirituality, and advocacy. The goal of her art practice is to capture the deep and essential themes that impact life and humanity.  Her artworks have been featured in distinguished publications and displayed in many museums and galleries. With over a decade of teaching experience, Ayannie also enjoys being an Art Educator in DC Public Schools.
